On the technical side, Duka is constantly searching for new solutions to improve the user experience of its shower enclosures, thus enhancing daily well-being.
The redesign of the multi-S 4000 series, characterized by greater aesthetic purity and enhanced functionality, has inspired the design and technology of the new libero 4000 solutions.
libero 4000 is the Walk In shower enclosure that combines practicality and formal balance in a space that remains open, defined solely by a glass wall or door that separates the shower area from the rest of the bathroom. A new combination of minimalist design and technology has given rise to new versions, some featuring different freestanding opening systems: with a pivot door and with a bi-folding door. Smooth and secure, the new opening systems are designed to enhance the feeling of comfort and ensure greater durability of the shower enclosure.
For these models, the support bar is perfectly aligned with the height of the enclosure, offering better adaptability, stability and security of the glass wall as well as an easier assembly. The profiles, which offer a range of adjustment options, along with the hinges, are designed to be especially discreet. The thin part is placed on the outside, to respect the minimalist look of the libero 4000 and maximise the shower area.
The hinges allow a comfortable 180° opening both inwards and outwards and are attached to the glass using the Brillant UV bonding system, a technology by Duka that eliminates the need for screws and ensures a high durability of the glass. The inner surface is completely smooth, with no raised components or obstacles, making the shower enclosure easy to clean and enhancing its aesthetic appeal. In the version with 6mm safety glass, libero 4000 reaches a special height of 2100mm, and with 8mm glass, 2250mm.
For models with a height of 2000mm, libero 4000 is now also available with a black profile – a colour that gives the shower enclosure a sophisticated, contemporary look, perfect for evoking industrial atmospheres, creating refined combinations, or adding striking contrasts.
To make it even more complete, Duka is also expanding the libero 3000 series, the line of freestanding shower enclosures, equipped with a support arm that can be installed at an angle of 30° or 90°, depending on the model and requirements. The series visually amplifies space by capturing light, ideal for completing large or medium-sized rooms. The libero 3000 proposal now includes the solution with a pivot door, the unusual island configuration and the solution without profile with 6mm or 8mm tempered safety glass and hinges glued to the wall using UV Brillant technology. Furthermore, the special height has been increased from 2050mm to 2100mm.
With the ‘evolutions’ of the libero 4000 and libero 3000 series, Duka introduces a new concept of design and functionality for Walk In shower enclosures, harmonizing space and aesthetics with the needs of the modern bathroom.
