Piscataway, NJ, USA – The Zhaga Consortium is excited to announce its participation at Light+Building, the world’s leading trade fair for lighting and building services technology, taking place from March 3 to 8, 2024, in Frankfurt.

Zhaga invites all attendees to visit its booth in Hall 8, Stand C38 and to engage with Zhaga representatives and learn about the organization’s initiatives to drive the future of lighting.

A highlight of Zhaga’s presence at Light+Building will be a presentation by Heinrich Thye, Secretary General of Zhaga, scheduled for March 5th at 15:00 on the Exhibitor Stage Light in Hall 5.0, Stand B60. Thye will delve into how Zhaga is futureproofing lighting through its circular economy approach, emphasizing and enabling interoperability, connectivity, and circularity in the lighting industry.

Zhaga is also offering a sneak preview of its latest specifications for 2024 at Light+Building. Prototypes of linear socketable LED modules will be on display at the Zhaga booth. The related specifications aim to provide a cost-effective mechanical and electrical interface for toolless replaceable linear LED modules, promoting plug and play interoperability.

Zhaga’s commitment to circularity in lighting extends beyond product development. The organization is pioneering circular economy standards through its Circularity Lighting framework, aimed at keeping used luminaires out of landfills and reducing reliance on raw materials.

Visitors to Light+Building are encouraged to explore Zhaga’s solutions and learn about the organization’s certification process for luminaires and components.

With over 550 members worldwide, Zhaga is at the forefront of standardizing interfaces of components for LED luminaires.
